_ My understanding of light is rooted in photography _ designing photographs, taking them and making them, all processes are light-related and they taught me the edges, the needs, and possibilities of visuality. The deeper my understanding grew, the more I wanted to share this experience – the process of appearance and disappearance or of the “happening” – with others, of course with artists and curators but as well as with an attentive audience.

How to work with art in public space in the capital of kitsch? _ The second edition of the international festival of light SKOPJE LIGHT ART DISTRCIT took place from May 29 to June 1, 2019 in the capital of North-Macedonia. The decentral exhibition project hosted 24 artists from North-Macedonia, the Balkan and Europe, all working with light as material or medium. MAP>>
_ The festival is content-wise thus dedicated to thematization of colours in the context of contemporary art. The selected projects, among which many new productions, explore the rich symbolism and expressiveness of colours as well as their role in achieving different visual effects.
_ Vom 22. bis 24. März 2018 fand in Köln die erste Edition des internationalen Licht Kunst Projektes COLLUMINA statt. Über den Stadtraum verteilt waren 18 Kunstwerke zu sehen, die alle Licht als Bildmedium und eine Vielzahl von Materialien wie Staub, Glas, Gewebe oder Kubaturen als Bildanzeigen einsetzten. Die Initiative ging vom Haus der Stiftungen aus, die Projektleitung lag bei Ralf Seippel.
