Seit 15 Jahren arbeiten Eva-Maria Joeressen und Klaus Kessner zusammen. In ihren ortsgebundenen Arbeiten entwerfen sie Bild-Klang-Kompositionen. Sie reagieren auf eine Situation, die sich aus topografischen Spezifika eines Ortes, architektonischen Aspekten und assoziierten Erfahrungs-, Bedeutungs- und Sinnzusammenhängen zusammensetzt. Sie gehen der Vielschichtigkeit eines Ortes nach, um das Offensichtliche wie das Übersehene, Eingeschriebenes wie Adaptiertes, Erkennbares oder Codiertes zu reflektieren.
